Here at North Lizard Riding School we provide lessons and guidance for riders of ALL abilities. The different lessons are shown below. If you have any questions please telephone: 0191 5292198.

Starter Lessons: These are group lessons, where we aim to teach the basics of control at walk and rising trot with emphasis on fun and safety.

Class Lessons: For slightly more advanced pupils with basic skills from starter lessons, ready to progress to cantering and jumping.

Private Lessons: All standards can be catered for in these lessons.

Lunge Lessons: Half hour sessions especially helpful for beginners as the rider doesn’t need to control the horse. They are also beneficial to more advanced riders wishing to concentrate on their riding position.

Hacking: We can cater for all abilities by leading inexperienced riders from another horse.

Livery: We provide a full livery service with horse living inside from October to May with the option of field livery from May to October. Inside livery includes all hay, bedding, hard feed, daily turnout and rug changing. Clipping, shoeing, schooling and worming can all be provided at an extra charge.
